Our Camps are spread out from the far West right to the Eastern Coast, allowing guests to experience a diversity in landscape, flora and fauna across the vast and wonderful Tanzania. Unlike many Tanzanian safaris, our lodges are in the much less frequented Southern half of the country, where you are more likely to see huge herds of animals than huge hoards of game vehicles. Katavi enjoys a 6 month dry period from June through to end October. As the park dries out the animals are concentrated into smaller areas contributing to the spectacularly large herds. From November to February the park turns green and lush, still with excellent viewing and better than ever bird populations. The camp is open from the 1.

Get away from it all to relax and unwind with 9km uninterrupted beach and swimming at all tides. Imagine a private island in the Indian Ocean, the waves lapping the white sandy beach just metres from your bed. The day stretches ahead with promises of sun, snorkeling and mangrove exploration, just interrupted by freshly prepared meals. Being an island Lazy Lagoon is only accessible by boat. The boat crosses several times per day so we will arrange to ferry you across on the most convenient crossing.

Nestled in the cool hills of the Southern Highlands, surrounded by pristine ancient forests and rolling tea plantations, Mufindi is the perfect break from the dust and heat of a safari. Set on one of the most stunning stretches of the Great Ruaha River, you can see game throughout the day from the comfort of your veranda; there can surely be few other camps as perfectly situated. Ruaha can be visited at any time of year, however the best time for game viewing is during the dry season from June to December when wildlife converges on the dwindling water reserves notably the river in front of the Lodge. Rufiji River Camp enjoys an enviable location high up on the banks of the Great Rufiji River. Spectacular sunsets are chorused by hippos grunting and a plethora of bird song. Rufiji River Camp uses Mtemere airstrip. There are also flights from Arusha to Selous daily. Widget 2 - Air link.

Vuma Hills Tented camp is perched above the trees stretching over the seemingly endless wilderness south west of Mikumi National Park. The best time for visiting is in the dry months between June to February. Vuma Hills Tented Camp remains open all year round, but access to some areas of the park may be limited during March to June, due to the rains.
